Depending on when you are visiting, the insect population of Northern Labrador can be quite amazing. During the summer months, a bug jacket and plenty of insect repellant is necessary. These items can often be purchased in the various Nunatsiavut communities. Keep your bug jacket handy.

What are the amenities like in the communities?
All Nunatsiavut communities have access to modern amenities such as electricity, flushable toilets, hot water showers, and internet. As all five communities are remote and isolated, each offers incredible access to beautiful landscapes, but also has more limited amenities than the major urban centers of Canada.

Is there a weight restriction on the airplane to Nunatsiavut?
