The information provided herein will form part of Economic Development Division-NG database of Inuit Businesses. The database will be provided to Vale NL and the Business Development Committee, Contractors and other businesses seeking to provide work or supply goods or services for the Voisey’s Bay Project; Nunatsiavut Government; Provincial Government and/or Federal Government. Registrants will have access to their files to amend their information or otherwise to remove their business from the database upon reasonable notice to Economic Development Division-NG.

Vale NL will make its databases of Contractors and other businesses interested in providing work or supplying goods and services to the Project available to the Nunatsiavut Government.

- an entity operating for profit or gain that is at least 51 % owned and controlled by Inuit and includes a sole proprietorship owned by an Inuk
- an entity operating for profit or gain that is not 51% owned and controlled by Inuit but which
  (i) has a significant percentage of Inuit employees, and
  (II) has significant Inuit participation in the ownership and control of the entity
- a not for profit corporation or corporation without share capital all of the members of which are Inuit

Your business will not be registered as an Inuit Business unless the Economic Development Division-NG can verify ownership and control of the business. For that purpose, please provide the following documents, as necessary. All documents must be certified & current.

4. Performance/Verification

After a business is declared by Economic Development Division-NG as an Inuit Business, you also verify that:
- You will notify the Economic Development Division-NG if there is a change in the ownership and control of your business during the performance of the contract
- If your business no longer meet the requirements, or make false statements your business will be disqualified from participating in future contracts and business opportunities in the Inuit IBA
- You will provide regular updates on the number of Inuit employees in your business when requested by the Nunatsiavut Government or the Economic Development Division-NG
