The Registrar of Beneficiaries and the Office of Registry in Nain manage all matters dealing with eligibility and enrolment. Four regional Membership Committees meet monthly to approve or disapprove the applications for membership. The regions include Nain and north of Nain, Hopedale, Makkovik and Postville, and Rigolet and Upper Lake Melville. The Appeals Board is responsible for reviewing an application, if the applicant decides to appeal a decision.

Do Your Part!

It is important for all beneficiaries to provide the Office of Registrar with current contact information for themselves and their families. When moving, please let us know of your new address. You can do so by sending an e-mail or calling Sheila Angnatok. For more information about your rights, benefits, and obligations as a Beneficiary, please contact the Office of the Registrar:

If you still hold the Labrador Inuit Association Beneficiary card, we recommend that you call our office in order to have your Beneficiary card updated to the Nunatsiavut Government card.
