The following Notice to Beneficiaries of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement residing in the Constituency of Nain is being issued at the request of Nunatsiavut Elections Officer, Nanette Blake:

Beneficiaries of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement residing in the Constituency of Nain will head to the polls on January 18, 2024, to choose an Ordinary Member to fill a vacant seat in the Nunatsiavut Assembly. This is the third time a date has been set for the by-election. There were no nominations received for the two previous calls.

Nominations for the January 18 by-election will close at 2 p.m. (Atlantic Standard Time) on January 3, 2024.
