Join artists, cultural leaders, policymakers, and communities from across the Circumpolar North for three days of dialogue, exchange, and collaboration at the Arctic Arts Summit in Umea, Sweden in June 2026. The Summit brings together conversations, presentations, workshops, and public programming that highlight practices and perspectives from across the region.
Arctic Arts Summit 2026, themed “Land, Power, Art,” will be co-hosted in Ubmeje/Umeå, Sweden from June 16–18 by Viermie K, Umeå kommun, Region Västerbotten, the Swedish Arts Council, Umeå University, and the Arctic Arts Summit Secretariat.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a Beneficiary of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement
- Must have a valid Passport for travelling outside of Canada
- For the purpose of this EOI, eligible applicants must have an interest in the Arts field:
- Artists of any discipline
- Individual working in the Arts and/or Cultural sector
- Individuals that work with and/or support artists
- Anyone who feels connected to the arts in their community
- Ability to speak on a panel
