Public health is delivered by the Department of Health and Social Development (DHSD) in a collaborative approach. Nurses and community health aides make up the Public Health team and they work very closely with the Home and Community Care program. There is also a collaborative working relationship with the staff of the Community Clinics, Labrador Grenfell Health, who deliver the primary care function.
