Economic Profiles

A tool for divisional program planning, advocacy and business development.

These profiles are the first of its kind in Newfoundland and Labrador, created in partnership with MUN’s Regional Analytics Lab (RanLab).

The profiles present relevant economic data (social, industry, transportation, public service, income, employment, education, labour force, age, sex, governance, remoteness, local businesses, nature, geography, local opportunities, attractions, population overview, etc.) in an infographic style document on a biannual basis. The 2023 version is available below.

An updated 2025 version will be available February 2027.
