The following outlines a list of options that Beneficiaries of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement can avail of during medical travel in Upper Lake Melville:

Type of Accommodation	Description
Private	Overnight accommodation that is not in a commercial establishment but in a private residence.
Contracted Service – Kerry’s Place	A private multi establishment that can house a maximum of 18 people in nine designated bedrooms with three fully equipped washrooms on the ground level.
Contracted Service – R&S Cornerstone Accommodations Ltd.	Five individual apartment units consisting of two- or three-bedroom units.
Commercial Accommodation	Accommodation in a commercial establishment such as a hotel, motel or serviced apartment.

 The NIHB program recognizes that there will be instances where a medical condition will require the use of a private bathroom. In these instances, if the NIHB team is made aware, all efforts will be made to accommodate.

In instances where a Beneficiary prefers to avail of commercial accommodations at their own expense, the NIHB program will reimburse up to the amount of $175 per night, which is the negotiated NIHB rate for medical accommodations.
