Newfoundland and Labrador’s Interpersonal Violence Disclosure Protocol Act, also known as Clare’s Law, is a significant step towards ensuring the safety of individuals who feel at risk of intimate partner violence.
“Our goal is to empower victims and their loved ones with the relevant information they need to make informed decisions, creating a safer environment for all. Clare’s Law is a crucial step towards achieving this, and I encourage everyone to familiarize themselves with this legislation, and to lend a helping hand in times of need,” says Nunatsiavut President Johannes Lampe.
