The Nunatsiavut Government (NG) Department of Language, Culture and Tourism is currently seeking the services of a consultant to develop a refreshed Nunatsiavut Arts Strategy for Nunatsiavut that includes visual arts, textile crafts and performance artists.
The NG recognizes the important cultural, social and economic role of arts and crafts in Nunatsiavut. The Tourism Division currently supports the arts and crafts sector through dedicated staff and programming, including an Arts Services Manager, Arts Program Coordinator and a part-time Nain Jewelry Studio Maintenance Worker.
